About this program

The NIH Research Education Program (R25) supports research education activities in the mission areas of the NIH. The overarching goal of this NIDCD R25 program is to support educational activities that help recruit individuals with specific specialty or disciplinary backgrounds to research careers in biomedical, behavioral and clinical sciences.

Small businesses; Nonprofits that do not have a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, other than institutions of higher education; State governments; City or township governments; Public and State controlled institutions of higher education; County governments; Special district governments; Private institutions of higher education; For profit organizations other than small businesses; Nonprofits having a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, other than institutions of higher education; Independent school districts; Public housing authorities/Indian housing authorities; Native American tribal organizations (other than Federally recognized tribal governments); Native American tribal governments (Federally recognized); Others (see text field entitled "Additional Information on Eligibility" for clarification).
