About this program
The purpose of the Maternal, Infant, and Early Childhood Home Visiting (MIECHV) Program is to improve maternal and child health, early childhood development, and family well-being by providing pregnant women and families with young children voluntary, evidence-based home visiting services.
Who can apply
Nonprofits having a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, other than institutions of higher education; State governments; Others (see text field entitled "Additional Information on Eligibility" for clarification). All 50 states and 6 jurisdictions serving the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands, the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, and American Samoa. Nonprofit organizations currently funded are eligible to apply if the state/jurisdiction does not apply.
