About this program
The purpose of the Culturally Specific Services for Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault program is to provide culturally specific services for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. Objectives include services for survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence to address emergent needs resulting from a public health emergency and other public health concerns and support for organizations to promote strategic partnership development and collaboration in responding to the impact of public health concerns on survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence.Optional activities include providing legal advocacy, job training and employment services, and identifying secure and safe affordable temporary or permanent housing.
Who can apply
Nonprofits having a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, other than institutions of higher education; Native American tribal organizations (other than Federally recognized tribal governments); Nonprofits that do not have a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, other than institutions of higher education; Private institutions of higher education; Public and State controlled institutions of higher education. Applications from individuals (including sole proprietorships) and foreign entities are not eligible and will be disqualified from the merit review and funding under this funding opportunity. Faith-based and community organizations that meet the eligibility requirements are eligible for awards under this funding opportunity.
