NSERC-FRQ NOVA program for junior researchers | Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada Funding opportunity NSERC-FRQ NOVA program for junior researchers Overview Open Value and duration Up to $75,000 per year ($45,000 from NSERC and $30,000 from the FRQ) for up to three years Application deadline You must submit your LOI using NSERC’s online system by September 10, 2026, before 4:00 pm (ET). The deadline for submitting your LOI to NSERC is the same as the deadline for submitting the application to the FRQ. Note : You must submit your LOI to NSERC through your Research Grants Office. Institutional approval is required before submitting the LOI to NSERC. Check your institution’s internal submission deadline , which may be earlier than the deadline for submission to NSERC.
