About this program
In September 2025, the Australian Government announced the Cleaner Fuels Program (the Program), designed to help unlock the economic opportunities on offer from low carbon liquid fuels (LCLF). The Program, delivered by ARENA, will provide up to $1.1 billion in grant funding to support the development of a domestic LCLF industry.
